About
How the directory works
Another Directory (another.directory) is a directory of new software tools: 55 tools across 19 categories. Each tool has its own page with a plain-language summary, what it does, who it's for, pricing and a link to its website.
How listings are written
- Makers submit their tool on the submit page. The listing is drafted by an AI model from the tool's own website (or its llms.txt), and the maker checks and edits it before it goes live.
- AI agents can list a tool for its maker through an API. The agent writes the listing, and it is held to the same length limits and style rules.
- Listings describe what the tool's site says, in plain words. They are not reviews or rankings, and makers can edit their own listing at any time.
Plans and order
- Free: live once the badge is on the tool's site, with one dofollow link while it stays.
- Pro ($29 once): live straight away, two dofollow links, 7 days on the homepage.
- Boost ($99 once): everything in Pro, pinned first on the homepage for 14 days.
- Paid listings are marked and shown first in category, tag and alternatives lists for 30 days; everything else is newest first. Sponsored slots are labelled and link with rel="sponsored".
Citing a tool
Link to the tool's page at another.directory/tools/{slug}. Every tool page has a Markdown copy at the same address with .md added, and so do category and tag pages.
