Aptabase is an open source analytics service for mobile, desktop and web apps. It tracks sessions and custom events without cookies or personal data, and targets developers who want usage insights without consent banners.
What is Aptabase?
Aptabase collects usage data from apps through lightweight SDKs. Developers add an SDK, then send events such as button clicks, feature use or configuration changes. Events can carry string or number properties. Nothing is tracked automatically, so the developer decides what to measure.
Data appears in a built-in dashboard that updates in real time. It also offers a live view of active sessions with a geo map and a session timeline showing events inside a session. The dashboard works on mobile and has a dark mode. Data can be exported to CSV. Sessions are anonymous, so it does not report per-user metrics such as monthly active users, per-user retention or user-tied funnels.
